CSA was contracted in multiple roles for the “Build it Back” citywide program run by New York City’s Housing Recovery Operations (HRO), for CM/Design-Build services to assist homeowners, landlords, and tenants in the five boroughs whose primary homes were damaged by Hurricane Sandy. Project funded with $648 million through HUD CDBG-DR funding to help homeowners repair or rebuild homes damaged by the storm. CSA successfully delivered:
Special Inspection & Material Testing services for the Hurricane Sandy Relief Program, NYC
- A&E field visits, as-builts, scoping, design, permitting/environmental studies, and project management for 770 homes in Staten Island and Queens, NYC
- Fire Protection Designer and DOB filings for 316 homes in Queens, and Brooklyn, NYC
- Construction Inspection Services for 100 homes in Brooklyn and Staten Island, NYC
